Alasiya was the Bronze Age name for Cyprus, as noted in the Amarna letters, the clay tablets where the island appears mostly as a supplier of copper to the courts of Egypt and the Near East. Cyprus' first entry in the written record was, more or less, a shipping ledger.

This website is my version of a ledger, where I keep my work. Some of it is about Cyprus — evidence-led pieces on the island's energy, economy, housing and so on. Some of it isn't: machine-learning and data projects, and some of the tools I've built along the way.
